HI, I'M ANNIE
I'm a wife and mother of two with another one the way! I grew up here in the beautiful PNW and enjoy
going on hikes, having family game nights, listening to true crime podcasts, and my newest hobby is gardening!
Before becoming a doula and birth educator, I worked as a graphic designer. During my first pregnancy,
I discovered my passion to help inform and support growing families.
Why I Am A Doula
During the pregnancy and birth of my first son, I realized that not only did I not know about my options as a birthing person, but that other families in my community also didn’t know their options either. I hear countless stories from families who wished their birth experiences had gone differently and this opened the door to a whole new chapter of my life. Although it meant I would be completely changing my career, I knew that I wanted to help inform and support families as they experience the journey of pregnancy and childbirth.
As Your Doula
You are my priority. I provide support and guidance whenever and however works best for you. I fully
understand that you may have unique preferences, cultures, and traditions. Let's talk about them so I can help create the birth experience you envision. As a doula, I rely on my own personal experience as a woman of color who has had both a hospital and home birth in addition to my professional training. I have been in the shoes of my clients and understand the emotional, mental, and physical aspects of carrying and bringing life into the world.
